About the artistSarah Hage is an avid painter, sculptor, and gardener who draws her inspiration from nature, history, and anything from found objects to fine art. She loves intense, saturated colors, sculptural forms, and contrast. Her artwork captures a sense of joy, freedom, and humor. Sarah graduated from Boston College where she studied art history with Dr. Kenneth Craig. Since graduation, she has taken art history classes at Harvard Extension School, as well as figure drawing classes at Boston College, Cambridge Center for Adult Education and Arlington Center for the Arts. Sarah has worked in clay and plaster sculpture with Barbara Zeles at Arlington Center for the Arts and has taken soft pastel portrait classes at Arlington Center for the Arts and at Santa Monica College. Recently, Sarah worked in oil painting with the renowned Chicana artist, Margaret Garcia, in Los Angeles. Sarah works and lives in North Hollywood with her husband, Mark, and their two cats, Tiger and Euphrates. Recent Shows
